Group Business Development Manager:

The role
You will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and maintaining our current spread of domestic and international contracts. Successful applicants will be required to work from our Kurri Kurri NSW base of operations however regular travel is an inherent part of the role to NSW and QLD coal regions as well as overseas.

You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A proven successful track record in a similar role in mining/manufacturing. Underground coal experience will be highly regarded.
• To provide detailed recommendations for business growth for works external to current contracts.
• Ability to proactively seek out opportunities and emerging markets for the sale, rent and supply of drill systems and related ancillary equipment.
• To ensure production schedules for all contracted works are in place and monitored with specific emphasis for whole package delivery.
• experience in tender submission, client negotiation, market and competitor analysis.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build and maintain client and management relationships.

Experienced Directional Drillers, Fitters and Offsiders

The role
Immediate start on contracts currently in operation at Narrabri NSW. You will be responsible for the safe and effective operation and/or maintenance of our ADS underground directional drill rigs as a Driller, Fitter or Offsider. As part of these roles, you will assist to maintain/set up and move our underground rigs and conduct directional drilling activities. You will also be required to operate ancillary underground mobile equipment and gas drainage systems.

You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Previous work alone permits.
• Drillers – A proven track record in UIS directional drilling (essential).
• Fitters – Relevant trade qualifications
• Offsiders – LHD, SMV tickets and relevant experience
• C Class Driver’s license. (Minimum)

Based at our purpose built Kurri Kurri facility we are seeking experienced fitters for the assembly and testing of our directional drill rigs and components as well as repair and maintenance on our fleet of air track rigs and associated auxiliary equipment. You
To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant trade qualifications
  • Previous experience in the repair, maintenance and /or assembly of hydraulic mobile equipment (highly regarded)
  • Experience in a similar role and proven ability to work as part of a team to achieve company deadlines
  • Post-trade hydraulics (highly regarded)
  • Ability to troubleshoot and fault find
